Risks

  • Sector concentration of losses in Telecoms, Utilities and Healthcare could keep downward pressure on overall market performance if those sectors continue to lag - impacting related equities and the OMX Helsinki 25.
  • A larger number of declining stocks (98) versus advancing stocks (68) suggests potential downside momentum across the exchange, which could affect investor sentiment and trading activity in the short term.
  • Volatility in commodity markets - notably oil, which rose in the session - could introduce uncertainty for energy-related companies and broader market valuation assumptions.
