Taiwan equities closed lower on Monday, with the Taiwan Weighted index down 1.39% as losses in Electronic Parts/Components and Computers & Peripherals weighed on the market. The report noted that shares in Edom Technology Co Ltd (TW:3048) and Mirle Automation Corp (TW:2464) rose to all-time highs during the session; Edom was up 10.00% to 56.10 and Mirle gained 10.00% to 126.50.
