The top performers on the S&P/BMV IPC included Controladora Vuela Compania de Aviacion SAB de CV (BMV:VOLARA), which advanced 4.30% or 0.65 points to settle at 15.77. Bolsa Mexicana De Valores SAB De CV (BMV:BOLSAA) added 3.78% or 1.29 points to close at 35.42, while Coca-Cola Femsa SAB de CV (BMV:KOFUBL) rose 1.76% or 3.20 points to finish at 184.91.
On the downside, Grupo Televisa SAB Unit (BMV:TLEVISACPO) led the decliners, sliding 7.44% or 0.76 points to end at 9.45. Genomma Lab Internacional SAB De CV (BMV:LABB) eased 4.92% or 0.74 points to close at 14.31 and Grupo Bimbo, S.A.B. De C.V. (BMV:BIMBOA) fell 4.32% or 2.54 points to 56.20.
Market breadth favored losers: 143 stocks declined while 100 advanced and 16 were unchanged on the Mexico Stock Exchange.

Gold Futures for August delivery declined 0.85% or 36.20 to $4,209.70 a troy ounce. In oil markets, the contract for August delivery of U.S. crude dropped 2.32% or 1.76 to $74.09 a barrel, while the September Brent contract inched up 0.01% or 0.01 to trade at $77.66 a barrel.

Currency moves showed USD/MXN edging up 0.03% to 17.37 and EUR/MXN rising 0.08% to 19.86. The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.15% at 100.77.
