Among constituents, Dap Gayrimenkul Gelistirme AS (IS:DAPGM) recorded the largest percentage increase, climbing 10.00% - a rise of 1.04 points - to finish at 11.44. Astor Enerji AS (IS:ASTOR) also posted a strong performance, adding 9.98% or 22.10 points to close at 243.60, while Borusan Birlesik Boru Fabrikalari Sanayi Ve Ticaret AS (IS:BRSAN) rose 9.96% - up 54.50 points - to end the day at 601.50.
Not all names moved higher. Efor Yatırım Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. (IS:EFOR) was the worst performer on a percentage basis, slipping 6.55% or 0.76 points to close at 10.85. Coca-Cola Icecek AS (IS:CCOLA) dropped 2.80% or 2.15 points to 74.70, and Enerya Enerji AS (IS:ENERY) fell 2.60% or 0.24 points to finish at 9.00.
Market breadth favored advancers. On the Istanbul Stock Exchange, 352 issues rose while 249 declined and 18 were unchanged.
Astor Enerji AS reached an intra-session milestone, with its share price rising to a new all-time high of 243.60 following the 9.98% increase.
Commodity and currency markets were mixed alongside equities. Gold futures for June delivery declined 0.95% - down $44.85 - to trade at $4,696.05 per troy ounce. In crude markets, June delivery crude oil gained 2.68% or $2.53 to $96.93 per barrel, and the July Brent contract rose 2.82% or $2.80 to $101.93 per barrel.
