Russian military offensives targeted two localities in southeastern Ukraine on Thursday, leading to casualties and property damage, local government officials reported. In Komyshuvakha, a town located east of the regional capital Zaporizhzhia within the Zaporizhzhia region, authorities stated that four attacks were carried out by Russian forces. These strikes resulted in the fatality of one person and caused injuries to ten others. Several private residences in the area sustained damage as a result of these assaults. Further west, in Kryvyi Rih, an industrial urban center within the Dnipropetrovsk region and President Volodymyr Zelenskiy’s hometown, a coordinated attack involving drones and missiles infected the area. According to Oleksandr Vilkul, who heads the city’s military administration and announced updates through his Telegram channel, thirteen people were injured. Among those wounded were four children. The strikes affected residential apartment buildings, educational facilities, and critical infrastructure elements vital to the functioning of the city. Vilkul emphasized in his statement that, despite the injuries and damage, all affected individuals were alive and that six required hospitalization, including three minors. The communication did not specify the extent of the infrastructure damage but confirmed the impact on community services and housing. Attempts by news agencies to independently authenticate the occurrence of these attacks were unsuccessful, and Russian officials did not provide any statements or confirmations regarding the operations.
