Risks

  • Continued sector-specific weakness in Telecoms, Household and Basic Resources could keep downward pressure on the Athens General Composite - impacting equity performance across those sectors.
  • Large moves in commodity contracts, such as the 4.93% drop in April gold futures, introduce volatility risks to portfolios with commodity exposure.
  • Currency fluctuations, evidenced by EUR/USD down 0.66% and the US Dollar Index Futures up 0.55%, create exchange-rate risk for companies with foreign-currency revenues or costs.
