Index performance - The COLCAP finished the session up 1.81%, registering a new all-time high at the close.

- Etb (BVC:ETB) led the session, jumping 19.05% - a rise of 16.00 points - to finish at 100.00.
- Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana SA (BVC:GRUPOSURA) added 4.00%, up 2,500.00 points to close at 65,000.00.
- Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (BVC:BVC) rose 2.30% - an increase of 360.00 points - to end at 15,980.00.

Commodities and futures - In commodity trading, US coffee C for December delivery fell 1.07%, a decrease of 3.20, to $294.90. US cocoa for December delivery dropped 2.12%, down 133.00 to $6,140.00. By contrast, the December Gold Futures contract rose 2.39%, gaining 105.70 to trade at $4,520.30 a troy ounce.
FX and dollar index - The USD/COP exchange rate moved lower by 0.13% to 3,150.61, while BRL/COP also fell 0.13% to 617.06. The US Dollar Index Futures (DX) was reported down 0.58% at 98.98.
Overall, the session closed with the headline COLCAP gain and selective strength among Industrials, Services and Agriculture, offset by some weakness in a handful of financial stocks.
