Risks

  • Rising oil prices - a 4.30% jump in October crude to $100.18 a barrel - could increase input costs for energy-sensitive sectors, including Industrials and Transportation.
  • Weakness concentrated in Utilities, Banking and Mining suggests sector-specific pressures that may persist given the current session’s breadth (32 decliners vs 16 advancers).
  • Movements in currency pairs, such as EUR/MAD rising 0.35% to 10.91, introduce exchange-rate uncertainty for exporters and importers operating in dirham terms.
