BALTIMORE, Aug. 24, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Sinclair today issued the following statement regarding an employee-led vote by KOMO 4 on-air employees in Seattle to determine whether they would continue to be represented by the Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA).

KOMO anchors and reporters voted to end SAG-AFTRA representation, following a decertification petition filed with the National Labor Relations Board in July. Following completion of the NLRB process, SAG-AFTRA will no longer serve as the exclusive bargaining representative for employees in the unit.
