BETHESDA, Md., Sept. 09, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Eagle Bancorp, Inc. (NASDAQ: EGBN), the Bethesda-based holding company for EagleBank, one of the largest community banks in the Washington, D.C. area, today announced that Matthew “Matt” Nader has joined the Bank as 1st Senior Vice President, Senior Market Executive for Commercial Real Estate.

In his new role, Nader will help lead EagleBank’s commercial real estate business, focusing on expanding client relationships and driving growth across the Greater Washington region.

Nader brings nearly two decades of commercial real estate banking experience in the Washington metropolitan market. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President and CRE Team Lead for the National Capital Region at Pinnacle Financial Partners, where he built the firm’s commercial real estate banking practice across Washington, D.C., Baltimore, and Richmond/Tidewater. Under his leadership, the practice grew to $250 million in commercial real estate loans and $150 million in deposits.

Prior to Pinnacle, Nader held senior commercial real estate roles with Truist, SunTrust and BB&T.

At Truist, he led a Maryland CRE team serving an $850 million loan portfolio. At SunTrust and BB&T, he originated commercial real estate financing for developers and investors in the Washington region and nationally, including construction, bridge and permanent financing.

Nader serves on the board of the Washington, D.C. chapter of the Real Estate Lenders Association (RELA) and HopeLink Behavioral Health and as treasurer of Section Three of the Village of Chevy Chase. He holds a Master of Science in Real Estate from Johns Hopkins University Carey Business School and a Bachelor of Arts from Colgate University.
