(NASDAQ: AAOI), a leading provider of advanced optical and HFC networking products powering AI, today announced it was awarded a Texas Semiconductor Innovation Fund (TSIF) grant for $20,852,518 to support the company’s manufacturing expansion plans in Sugar Land, Texas.

AOI’s 2026 expansion plans are underway to occupy an additional 210,000-square-foot manufacturing facility adjacent to its current headquarters in Sugar Land, where it will establish one of the largest production capacities for AI-focused data center transceivers in the U.S. and create over 500 new jobs in the coming years.
